Story of Miser

I am not fully sure but either in 9th or 10th standard, I studied a story as part of my English subject in school and it is called “The miser”.

I learned many interesting words from this chapter. Cat’s meat, young chap etc. to name a few.

Last year my friend gifted me “The greatest works” of George Orwell. Until couple of weeks back it was waiting to be engaged with its purpose.

The first novel from this book is a story of the author’s own experiences. And when I read the 23rd chapter, I connected the dots, it was that story of the miser. Yes, George Orwell contributed to my English foundation, almost 30 long years back.
